A birthday V.O.

If someone's narrating my life, at this point it might sound something like this:
"Ten years on, and he still thinks he's writing a book..."

some people need more time.. writting comes with collecting life's experiences.. maybe you need the extra decade.. look at the guy who wrote angela's ashes, it took him sometime.

Anthony Trollope said that they are most happy who have no story to tell. I think writing a book, especially a novel, is one part technique and one part experience. Without a good structure the best experience in the world cannot be translated into a story. Without experience the most accurate language would not come to life. And lucky is he who could strike the balance and spin an unforgettable yarn in time.

Hey Bert, thanks for the birthday wish. Didn't do anything too crazy on my birthday, just the old-fashioned cake-cutting and dinner celebration.
